How We Use AI

LionCV uses artificial intelligence to help you create professional CVs faster. All AI features are clearly labeled in the interface with a sparkle icon and “AI-generated” badges so you always know when content has been created or modified by AI.

We use Claude by Anthropic as our AI model. Anthropic is a leading AI safety company. We chose Claude for its strong language understanding, safety focus, and high-quality output.

  • Your CV data is sent to Anthropic's API only when you actively use an AI feature.
  • Anthropic does not use your data to train their models (per their API terms).
  • We do not store AI-generated outputs on our servers beyond what you save in your CV.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it.

EU AI Act Compliance

LionCV is classified as a limited-risk AI system under the EU AI Act. We comply with transparency obligations by:

  • Clearly labeling all AI-generated content in the user interface.
  • Disclosing the AI provider and models used (this page).
  • Informing users what data is processed by AI and how.
  • Providing users full control over when AI features are triggered (opt-in, credit-based).
